Workwear for Plumbers & Heating Engineers

Plumbers and heating engineers spend most of the day inside customers' homes: under sinks, in airing cupboards and up in lofts, then back out to the van in all weathers. Your workwear needs to give you room to move in tight spaces, wash well after messy jobs and look smart enough that customers feel confident letting you in.

Not Just T-Shirts embroiders and prints plumbing and heating workwear in-house in Chesterfield. Whether you're a one-van business or a growing team in Derbyshire, ordering is simple, and we deliver throughout the UK.

What plumbers and heating engineers usually need

Embroidery or print?

Most plumbers and heating engineers go for embroidery. It's durable, looks professional in a customer's home and suits polos, sweatshirts, fleeces and gilets. Print is a good option if you'd like a larger design on the back, such as your phone number, or on t-shirts. We'll happily advise. You can read more on our embroidery page.

How ordering works

  1. Choose your garments: Browse the categories above, call us, or pop into our Chesterfield shop to see and try on samples.
  2. Send your logo: A vector file such as an EPS or PDF is ideal. We can work from other files, though some may need redrawing for a small charge.
  3. Approve your quote: We email a full quotation for your approval. Payment is taken upfront for personalised orders.
  4. We embroider or print in-house: Your order is usually ready in 7 to 10 working days from approval and payment, then delivered anywhere in the UK.

There's no minimum order on the majority of our garments, with discounts for quantity. Logo set-up is a one-off charge, so reorders are simple and set-up-free.

Frequently asked questions: workwear for plumbers and heating engineers

What should a plumber wear to look professional in customers' homes?

An embroidered polo shirt is the most popular choice, with a sweatshirt, fleece or gilet on top in colder months. A neat left-chest logo makes it clear who you are when a customer opens the door.

Are gilets practical for plumbing work?

Yes. A gilet or bodywarmer keeps your core warm while leaving your arms free, which helps when you're working in tight spaces under sinks or behind boilers.

What logo file do you need for embroidered workwear?

Ideally a vector file, such as an EPS or PDF. We can work from other files, but they may need redrawing for a small charge.

Can I try workwear on before it's embroidered?

Yes. We have hundreds of garments on display at our Chesterfield shop, and we can hold your order so you have the chance to try sizes before they're decorated.

How long do branded plumbing work polos take?

Usually 7 to 10 working days from artwork approval and payment. We can sometimes turn orders around quicker depending on how busy we are, so just ask.

Is reordering workwear easy once my logo is set up?

Yes. Logo set-up is a one-off charge, so reorders don't pay it again, and you can simply get in touch to repeat or top up an order.
